With that being said, I was really bummed that all 5 of the apps I got for free were all in Spanish and nobody in my family speaks Spanish. I check it daily! Last nite, I was lucky enough to redeem 5 codes! How could they already be expired when it just came through? I was really surprised at how many of them were expired i would estimate close to half I hope this is fixed for the next push notification.Īfter I finally gave up on trying to get more codes and thought they must be all gone, I went to go find my new free apps. Its a great concept and very helpful when I am looking for an age appropriate app for my 4 year old daughter.

So there is going to be a chance of incompatibility based on which platform the promo code is for vs. Gadgetgirl, thanks for leaving that comment - promo codes are platform dependent iPhone v iPad when downloaded from a device vs. Mary Jenna, sounds like the codes were gone too fast. Maybe a different set up would be better.Īlso, once you download an app using your iTunes password, that app can be used across your devices. When I try it on my iPhone I get the message code has already been used. I get a message saying offer has expired or uncompatible with this device. Love the concept, but so far have been unable to redeem any of the codes. Hopefully there is a way to improve that … Not sure. My iPad periodically does that not sure it was a used code or my iPad just closed out. Got to redeem box on app store and itjust closed out. Had same problem about hitting notification. My problem is, the gadget I read moms with apps on my phone is not the gadget I put kiddy apps on an iTouch nobody in the family needed after upgrading all the grown ups phones.

What happens is that the codes are redeemed so quickly we had redeemed in 14 seconds this morning that it would cause redundancy to put them up manually.

There is not a manual way to get back to the list of codes, they are only available through that first instant of accessing the Push Notification through the app. Let me know if you have suggestions on how to get back to it. The problem was that I tried to redeem one and it was gone. Is this a setting? I have my push notifications on and got the notification this morning. Nothing happens when I tap the badge because of the screen being locked, but after unlocking the screen the badge disappears… so I cant get to the codes. I dismissed my first two push notifications instead of tapping on the box - is there anyway to get back to the promo codes to use them? Thanks for any help! The notification badges come through on my iPad, but it is when the iPad is idle and the screen is locked. You must be signed in to add attachments. The notification will send you a message, and when you touch it, it will direct you back to the app for more information. Help please! This is a new US unlocked variant S10e device purchased directly from Samsung. Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type. Easy fix! Also make sure you have sound selected and not vibrate or silient. Simply press volume up or down on the left side of the phone, then you will see the volume level at the top, quickly before it disappears, pull down on that volume level bar as if your going to check your notifications and there you will see all of your volume levels. Mine was turned all the way down causing me to have no sound at all. Any suggestions? I had the same freaking issue! Something as simple as making sure your notification volume level is actually turned up. I tried turning off Smart Things and I'm still not getting any sounds played when I get a text message.

#DATING APP NOTIFICATION SOUNDS UPDATE#
I have samsungs9 and I have a software update pop-up when I click ok it still doesn't update and my notifications bar it says device management software updating and then will disappear and come few MINUTES later. I turned it off and now my notification sounds are back. For some reason "SmartThings" which I don't even use was on. Also, if I go under the Sounds and vibration menu in settings and click around on the different sounds under "notification sounds" I would expect to hear a preview of each sound like it does for example when I click on ringtones in the ringtone menu but those are silent as well. When I get a text message using the built-in text messaging app, it only vibrates but there is no sound even though I have it set to make a sound.
